My name is Jennifer Regier and I’m very excited to be your child’s Grade 2 Teacher for the remainder of the school year. My official start day is Monday, April 11th. I absolutely love children and love teaching, and think that Grade 2 is just the best!
I’d like to tell you a little bit more about me before we begin our time together. I live in Exeter and I am very excited to have the opportunity to be working in the community I live in! I am returning from a maternity leave and have 3 of my own very busy boys. Previously, I spent the last 5+ years working at Seaforth Public School. Prior to my maternity leave, I was a leader in a Ministry Funded project titled Blogging as Digital Portfolios that supports integrating technology into the classroom in meaningful ways. This project has provided your child with access to his/her own individual iPad for use in the classroom. Stay tuned as we share all of the great learning that is happening in the classroom on our classroom blog.
I will be coming into the school over the next couple of weeks to become familiar with the routines and inner workings of our classroom. I love the classroom community that Miss Mudge has fostered and I intend to continue the year in a very similar fashion.
I am looking forward to getting to know each of your little learners – working alongside them everyday at Exeter Elementary School – exploring, growing and learning together! One of my biggest passions in life is the power of positive and effective education. I love classroom teaching and I am 100% devoted to creating a positive classroom learning environment for your child.
